In orthodox quantum theory with signal locality, Bohm's quantum potential acts on its classical field/particle, but there is no direct back-reaction of its classical field/particle on it.
With the emergence of macro-quantum phase coherence (e.g. the Higgs field in its various guises) the rules of the game change. We now have signal nonlocality in which messages can be decoded at one end of an entangled whole without the need for a classical signal key. The imprinting of the classical field/particle on its now macro-quantum coherent Bohm quantum information potential is conscious qualia (our inner experience).
