The Forum will generally not keep posts permanently. The purpose of the Forum is to aim the spotlight on newsworthy vetted information of real importance from the members, that in our judgment, is consistent with our Prime Directive, which is to "Make Star Drive Real." We want guests to get a quick idea of what we are trying to achieve when they quickly scan the Forum. If we kept every post up there it would quickly get unwieldy -- too much mindless random noise in the signal like Facebook, My Space, Half-Twitter et-al.

However, nothing prevents you from setting up your own "friends" networks on this software to discuss whatever you like as long as it is within cyberlaw restrictions.
