Observations of both gravity waves and light from the same source of two collision neutron stars suggest that the velocity of gravity is virtually the same as the speed of light. This discovery confirms the theory of general relativity and gives us a better understanding of the universe.

Although Newtonian physics claimed that the effects of gravity are instant, Albert Einstein theorized that the force that holds us on Earth must move through space before dragging an object. From this prediction, scholars have been looking for ways to observe and measure this phenomenon.
