Department of Natural Resources officials said Monday, they may soon do a DNA test to positively identify roadkill found south of Alexandria last week after it drew international attention.

According to Glenwood Area Wildlife Supervisor Kevin Kotts, officials are considering whether the animal warrants DNA testing after Wednesday's KSAX report caught attention from dozens of media outlets worldwide.
