Footage of a terrifying “half man half dog” initially thought to be “Bigfoot” might be something else even more astonishing.
The "Bigfoot sighting" has since been dispelled by Bigfoot experts, who say the jumbo beast wasn’t a sasquatch – but perhaps a previously undiscovered species of monkey.
The oddity was seen in long grass from the far side of a river in San Benito, Texas, in the US last year.
The fishermen who captured the footage remain to this day unidentified.
As the pair move up the river a humanoid creature can be seen drinking from the water on all fours before it seems to stand up on its hind legs.
