George's "dark star" paper.

I independently thought of the gravastar idea, but did not publish it formally except on the web. However, what interests me now is the complementary idea of an attractive dark matter core containing a shell of repulsive electric charge. This would be a model of the electron, for example, as a Bohm hidden variable, where the dark matter core is the "Poincare stress." This idea depends on dark matter from of net positive zero point vacuum fluctuation pressure in contrast to dark energy from net negative zero point vacuum fluctuation pressure.

George and I knew each other in the late 1960s at UCSD when George would come down to La Jolla from Cal Tech. See Greg Benford's TIMESCAPE for a description of that scene at Revelle College.
