The following mildly technical digression on quark bombs for star ship propulsion included a non-exhaustive set of tables including some possible quark flavor combinations for producing matter-antimatter quarkonium explosive devices. Herein, 4,033 such combinations are listed in tabulated summaries. The actual number of quarkonium materials applicable is likely to eventually prove to be an ensemble.
I will include yet another posting on this subject latter today after I catch some sleep for the night and which will include many additional quarkonium tables.
Matter-Antimatter Quarkonium is potentially a great energy source that might even provide power to anti-gravity propulsion systems, and perhaps even enable near light speed warp drive or maybe even faster than light warp drive. The energy densities latent within quarkonium may even be suitable for holding macroscopic wormholes open long enough to enable interstellar and intergalactic space time short cuts.
This guy is very bright and inventive. But a rocket is a rocket, no matter what propels it. And rockets are not suitable for interstellar travel, the primary reason being that they do not get around the major problem of spacetime dilation. If quarkonium can be used to create wormholes, as the author postulates, then that is another matter. To read the rest of the article, click here.
