This article reads like word salad to me. Is it a joke? I would have to see the actual article with the mathematics. Meantime I am wondering how Saul Perlmutter, Michael Turner et-al will respond. I suspect the article is not correct, but it's up to the experts to respond to it.
BTW virtual bosons explain dark energy. Virtual fermion-antifermion pairs explain dark matter.
Both have w = -1, but the virtual fermion-antifermion pairs mimic w = 0 CDM.
This is all basic physics:
equivalence principle
Lorentz invariance
quantum statistics
virtual bosons have negative vacuum pressure ---> anti-gravity
virtual fermion-antifermion pairs have positive vacuum pressure ---> gravity
