Dr Tamara Davis is an astrophysicst at the University of Queensland and spends a couple of months each year at the Dark Cosmology Institute of Cophenagen. She's working on measuring the dark energy that seems to be causing the universe to expand at an accelerating rate.

She won this year's L'Oreal Women in Science Award - and she's not even 35 yet!
