A Florida company is seeking investors for a transport system that allows passengers to zip around the world in vacuum-sealed tubes, reaching speeds of up to 6500km/h.
In the Evacuated Tube Transport system, travellers would sit in a 1.5m-diameter capsule which shoots along using frictionless magnetic levitation, technology blog io9 reports.
