Can anyone solve the riddle behind these unearthly blue lights in a spectacular aerial display?
It was filmed by Gordon Carter in Rainford in the early hours of Monday, February 6. He explained: “At just gone 1am I went into my back garden to put a sack of rubbish into the bin when I noticed two strange and baffling lights in the night sky.
"One was square and never moved apart from blinking on and off and the other one was circular and both were bright blue.
