UPDATE: With Bigfoot roaming around upper Dauphin County, how to protect yourself

The big story at five, ‘Bigfoot’ sighted in Central Pennsylvania. State Police are investigating a reported sighting of the world famous, but all elusive man-animal in lower Dauphin County.

You might chuckle, but some say listen up. While it is still heavily debated if ‘Bigfoot’ actually exists, John Reed says he saw him.

John Reed says he's been tracking the hairy species since he was 10 and had his first encounter.
He says another encounter happened few weeks ago when he and his girlfriend were spending time in their camper around state game lands in the Halifax area.

“What i saw was someone walking by the window like this, could not see the top of the head and shoulders were about here,” demonstrated Reed.

Not only did the size seem extremely large, he says his dogs behavior confirmed his suspicion.

“She was growling at the window that night and I've never seen her growl,” Reed continued.

He says at that point they got into their truck and tried to find him by sending out some calls.

“As soon as I did it something stood up on her side of the truck and she saw the eyes and it walked up this way to the woods,” Reed added.
