According to a news article published November 4th 2012 at grindtv.com's outdoor blog and news source, some hikers in Utah's Provo Canyon were out camping and filming what they thought was a black bear in the distance when the black bear stood up and looked right at them! Now YouTube user and hiker, Beard Card, has been getting a lot of attention lately from the media about the Bigfoot footage he captured at Provo Canyon, Utah. He and his friends thought they were filming a black bear until something unexpected happened "The monster stood up and looked right at us," he told Fox 13 News.
According to Beard Card, the photographer/video operator, he and his three siblings and wife were hiking and camping in the canyon. They went up to film some deer they had seen up there previously. They found what they thought was a black bear and so decided to start filming. When the thing stood up it had long hairy arms and was massive compared to any normal hikers. Fox 13 news contacted Card and interviewed him on radio. You can listen to the whole interview here. Of course now skeptics and experts on this type of thing are analyzing the video, but so far it seems that the video is legit. It also seems the hikers were very real and not acting.
