OK after discussing with Nick Herbert, I agree with him my latest attempt at quantum entanglement signaling within the rules of orthodox quantum theory does not work. In this failed attempt, I made the spin degrees of freedom in the two paths of the interferometer parallel hence non-orthogonal, but I forgot that integrating over the sender's screen gives spatial orthogonality that cancels the fringe pattern on the receiver side.
