Recently, two scientists claimed that they have found the evidence regarding the presence of aliens out there in the space and this has generated a wide concern among many astronomers.
According to a report published in Fox News, the two scientists stated in the journal Publications of the Astronomical Society of Pacific that 234 stars have received signals in the form of light pulses. After examining the cause of the signals, the study revealed that the signals are caused by the light pulses which are generated to make the humans aware of the existence of the aliens. The scientists consider these aliens to be extraterrestrial intelligence. According to the study, these signals have given a shape which the scientists would expect to see from the aliens.
Sometimes, an extraordinary claim requires extraordinary evidence. As per Yahoo News, the Berkeley SETI Research Center says that they will observe some of the stars in question using an optical telescope of 8-foot, named Automated Planet Finder. The organization is looking forward to consulting with the scientists regarding the controversial claim, which according to them does not seem to be convincing.
Seth Shostak, a senior astronomer at the SETI Institute told the Astronomy magazine that he was 'quite skeptical' of the hypothesis. He further added that there are several - nearly three or four referees who have been disinclined to see this published.
The controversy seems to end on the edge of new data about an unusual star that has been dimming in the past few years, leading to a speculation about an 'alien mega structure'. The most interesting fact is that half of the scientists disagree with the evidence regarding the existence of the aliens whereas the other half believes that it has already been proven. It is said that alien civilizations have been visiting earth since many years and it is still continued.
