A Harvard firm has revealed plans to launch the first commercial DNA storage system next year.

Catalog says it will be able to cheaply store a terabyte of data – the equivalent of 40 Blu-rays – in a DNA pellet, boasting 'Our vision is to fit the information content of entire data centers into the palm of your hand.'
