We’ve been following this saga since September of 2011, when Producer Raul Julia-Levy claimed to have the goods in a film project that would show “evidence of Mayan and extraterrestrial contact, and all of their information will be corroborated by archaeologists”.   We doubted that at the time. In March, the hype continued when he described his project, “Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond” as “every archaeologist’s nightmare.”
He planned to have the film out by December 2012. Defenders and detractors appeared in that comment thread. At that point, I knew things were VERY weird. That is, weirder than on the surface, a DEEP kind of weird.

In October, news came out of disputes and suits. The project was falling apart.

Now we get an update from Hollywood Reporter which includes a summary of the whole sordid tale of Julia-Levy and his partner in the project Elizabeth Theriot.

Not surprising in the least. ;-) To read more, click here.
