A mysterious frozen message has appeared in upstate New York, but no one can agree what it means.
Peggy Gervase was looking at the pond near her home in Eden on Friday evening when she noticed some odd, perfectly round circles in the surface ice.
The markings resemble the inexplicable crop circles that appear in fields, but on water instead.
Gervase took a photo of the phenomenon she described as 'eerie in a way but cool in a way.' She then posted it to the Facebook page of Buffalo-based TV station WGRZ asking for help.
