An Idaho State University professor says he's coming close to launching an airship to assist his search for Bigfoot.

The Idaho Mountain Express reports that ISU's Jeff Meldrum, author of "Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science," is in the final stages of what is called "The Falcon Project," which will use a camera on a remote-controlled, 45-foot-long airship to conduct flyovers in what he calls "Bigfoot territory." Meldrum, an ISU professor of anatomy and anthropology and the Falcon Project's principle investigator, is spending the summer touring through the region in an effort to raise funds for the airship project.
