UFO hunters claim that a large “flying saucer” UFO visited Stonehenge a few days before the Summer Solstice.

Stonehenge in Wiltshire, England, is one of the most famous prehistoric construction sites in the world. It consists of a circular formation of erect stone slabs set within an earth bank and ditch. The structure is believed to have gone through various stages of construction between 3000 B.C. and 2000 B.C.

UFO Sightings Blog reports that a disc-shaped object, presumed to be an alien craft, was photographed hovering over the site a few days before Summer Solstice. The object, which hovered briefly before disappearing, was described as a black-colored, medium-sized UFO, about 20-30ft (6-9m) in diameter.

But, according to the Daily Mail, a UFO expert, David Clarke, described the claimed sighting as “unconvincing.” In his opinion, the UFO was probably a bird.

Needless to say, skeptics’ take on UFO sightings have never dissuaded believers from elaborating fantastic theories about UFOs and alien visitations. And this is not the first time that UFO and alien enthusiasts have reported UFO sightings in the sky over the prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, near Amesbury and Salisbury in England.
