Former telecommunications engineer Graham Woodward spotted the UFO as he drove back to his Swindon home last Sunday (Sep 25).
“It certainly was unlike any flying object that I have ever witnessed before,” he said.
Richard Newton, in nearby Liden, Wilts., also witnessed the bizarre light show – even managing to capture footage that he later posted on Facebook.
The minute-long clip shows three giant white lights floating in the sky, accompanied by a red light blinking melodically underneath.
