Russian leader Vladimir Putin says his military should have played along with rumours they had mastered teleportation…if only to panic the West.
The Premier joked the motherland should not have “disappointed” the world by correcting media reports which claimed Moscow may soon have its hands on a working teleportation device.
Russia’s work on the ‘supernatural’ ability to move from one place to another in an instant was first reported across Europe back in the summer.
Saying that a “Kremlin-backed research programme” sought to make the technology a reality by 2035, the reports said that the “multi-trillion pound” project had been presented to Putin.
A video of a man ‘teleporting’ on a busy road in Russia was even revealed at the same time which seemed to back up rumours scientists had a working model.
