A mysterious ball of light hovering eerily in the night sky has left stargazers baffled.
As a stargazer films the bizarre 'UFO' her dog can be heard going crazy in the background.
He furiously barks at the object as if he's trying to protect his owner.
The film of the lattice-like sphere of light was taken in the city of Ryazan in western Russia's Ryazan Oblast.
At first the shot shows some windows in a town, with a tiny light in the sky overhead.
Then the camera operator, obviously using high-end equipment, zooms in on the light to reveal it is a luminous ball with microstructures visible within.
