The founder of a private space transport company says humans could be on Mars in the next 10 years.
SpaceX's Elon Musk said he is hopeful of shuttling people to the red planet in between 10 and 12 years.
And he said that in the long term a "self-sustaining city" could be created there.
SpaceX was founded by Mr Musk in 2002 and designs, builds and launches spacecrafts into low-Earth orbit.
