John Hofmeister "Why We Hate the Oil Companies" - very impressive informative ex-CEO of Shell important POV on current BP blowout.

Hofmeister said five super-tankers could have done much to alleviate the shore pollution by normal skimming methods weeks ago. Now that it looks like the oil will keep gushing well into August and possibly for months beyond that, the super-tankers need to be pressed into service immediately - not a perfect solution, but at least a step in the right direction. Obama's indecision is worse than Bush's handling of Katrina in my opinion.
