Open Quantum Systems and Entanglement

In David Bohm's ontological interpretation reality splits into a BIT active information quantum potential Q and a set of IT hidden variables (HV). Ordinary quantum theory with signal locality has HV piloted by Q without any back-reaction of HV on Q. In other words, Q acts without being acted upon. This is the approximation when the HVs are in thermal equilibrium. Knock them out of equilibrium by some external pump and you get macro-quantum coherence and possibly signal nonlocality - a whole new range of post-quantum phenomena including, I suggest, our inner consciousness.
