Alien hunters are building a brand new array of telescopes to launch a co-ordinated search for little green men.

Astronomers across the UK and Europe are joining forces in a bid to finally end the search for extra-terrestrial life.

It is hoped the network of listening stations will pick up broadcasts from distant civilisations on planets orbiting nearby stars.

Engineers are still building a collection of 44 radio telescopes in Britain, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and France — so far 21 have been completed.

The "little green men" comment pisses me off, but at least it appears that they're trying to ramp things up in a real world way.  To read the rest of the article, click here.
