Space is the “primary ingredient of physical reality,” and has the same basic properties “everywhere and every when,” Frank Wilczek, 2004 Nobel laureate in physics, said Thursday in the lecture “What is Space?” Wilczek, a professor of physics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology discussed historical and modern conceptions of the properties and composition of space to a packed Wilder auditorium of students, faculty and members of the community.
