A few months ago, this column took a look back at the legend of Knobby, the Bigfoot-like creature that spooked folks in rural Cleveland County and made news in the late 1970s. It is still the most famous Bigfoot phenomenon in North Carolina’s history.
Now, it seems Knobby is back.
