Our Interplanetary Future: A UFO primer for skeptics by Milton Brener examines important episodes of recent history involving sightings and experiences with extraterrestrials.

Brener's book recaps frequent sightings in WWII by combat pilots; reports of sightings by airline pilots, military pilots and astronauts; the Roswell cover-up; and the 'plague' of saucers over the Washington, D.C. area in 1952; and reports from a dozen other countries.

Reviewing several well documented abduction files, Brener works to examine some particular UFO cases where there was an alleged government cover-up. In one chapter, the author refers to a quote by Neil Armstrong while on the moon, "These babies were huge, sir! Enormous! Oh, God! You wouldn't believe it. I'm telling you there are other spacecraft out there." Brener notes that the statement, made in 1969, was believed to have been suppressed by the government for reasons sometimes ascribed to national security.
