Mysterious strange lights were seen in the sky above Nuneaton – by four people in two different locations and on the same night that four similar sightings were reported from other parts of the country.
Two friends, standing in a garden on the St Nicolas Estate spotted “two orange glowing balls” hovering just below cloud level.
One of them said: “At first we thought they were the rear end of fighter jets. But they did not move and there was no noise. They stayed there for around five to ten minutes then suddenly disappeared. It was very weird.”
This was at around 11pm on Saturday, June 26 – at exactly the same time as another couple in Nuneaton saw something similar.
