After another UFO sighting in St. Paul early this morning, police came across a man who was apparently responsible for the flashing lights in the sky.

If you believe that, I've got a nice bridge to sell you.  I wouldn't be surprised if "kites rigged with lights" becomes the new debunking standard, replacing the now cliched Chinese lanterns explanation.  I saw the local TV news video, and what I saw was clearly and most definitely NOT a kite with lights attached to it, unless lights hanging from a string are capable of independently maneuvering and increasing their brightness by orders of magnitude, as well as other anomalous behavior!  These "officials" are becoming increasingly desperate in their pathetically lame "explanations" of significant UFO sightings.  But that's to be expected from such UFO experts as the police.  I think that all first responders like the police and firefighters, as well as any other federal, state, and local so-called "authorities," should be required to read Leslie Kean's new book, UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go On the Record, before making such idiotic proclamations. But who knows, maybe the cops were in on the explanation in this case. After all, we certainly can't have any unidentified objects flying over our cities, can we?
