Canadian firm Prodigy Clean Energy has announced the completion of a two-year R&D program designed to advance its transportable microreactor technology.
The company’s Transportable Nuclear Power Plant (TNPP) is a type of small modular reactor (SMR) that is deployable in remote regions. The technology could provide energy for military bases as well as underserved and isolated regions in need of electricity.
