Derbyshire residents were left dazed and confused last night as they watched an unidentified flying object in the sky. The UFO which had flashing coloured lights was filmed in the sky from a residential street in Long Eaton.
The small flying object was hovering and had flashing red and green lights. Witnesses were unable to determine the nature of the craft in low light as they watched. At around the same time, plane spotters reported that multiple aircraft had been prevented from landing at East Midlands Airport yesterday evening.
In video footage provided to Derbyshire Live, the object is seen hovering in the sky and filmed from South Street in Long Eaton. One onlooker remarked, "We might be on X-Files" as they filmed the craft for almost five minutes.
