A mystery object was captured in the sky over Barcelona on Friday (March 29) night when Spain said it might have seen a "possible ballistic missile".
Experts at the Institute of Space Sciences of the CSIC are looking into what looked like a fireball, which it said could possibly have been a missile.
The unidentified object was seen flying over and then disappearing into the sea near Valencia at around midnight.
According to the Fireballs and Meteorites Research Network (SPMN) of the Institute of Space Sciences of the CSIC, it traversed the eastern peninsula before vanishing into the sea south of the Valencian Community.
