Another bizarre mystery has surfaced online surrounding the reported death of Aidan Shaffer, a New Mexico-based UFO researcher and aerospace enthusiast. Shaffer’s name has recently surfaced amid the growing discussion involving unexplained deaths and disappearances tied to individuals connected to aerospace, propulsion research and national security. Shaffer’s full name was Martin Aidan Shaffer, though he commonly went by his middle name, Aidan.
Very little about Shaffer’s reported death has been independently confirmed. Shaffer’s story was brought to light by a YouTube video published by a podcaster known as Liminality. She repeatedly cautioned viewers that many of the claims discussed were speculative, based on social media posts, and incomplete information rather than official public records. Liminality, however, should be praised for bringing this to light, and setting the tone for this tragic and mysterious story.
According to LinkedIn and and the APEC website, Shaffer was involved in UFO/UAP and alternative propulsion research circles and was reportedly associated with Falcon Space. Falcon Space is a propulsion-focused startup connected to anti-gravity researcher Mark Soal. Shaffer’s LinkedIn profile described him as a co-founder of the company, though the website would say otherwise, as Shaffer was not listed as a founder. It’s described as “open source start up working towards space flight using field effect propulsion. Early stage start up.” He left in 2023.
