The fundamental question underlying the study of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) is whether the claims made under oath by whistleblowers like David Grusch represent a reality in which intact alien craft were collected by the U.S. Government over the past century. In such a reality, the UAP Science Advisory Council would love to have a guided tour to a facility that hosts an alien craft and help the owner figure out how it works with the hope to apply the same technologies for the benefit of humanity. But there could also be a reality in which the term `alien technology’ was used loosely to label the recovery and reverse engineering of human-made artifacts from advanced black projects of adversarial nations. The distinction between these two possible realities can only be determined by a first-hand encounter with the evidence. This, in turn, requires knowing all the details that whistleblowers know and were prevented from disclosing by legal restrictions of non-disclosure agreements or confidential contracts.
