October 7, 2014 Albuquerque, New Mexico - Three and a half years ago, the British Ministry of Defence said it had transferred all of its UFO files to The National Archives. On March 3, 2011, the Archives released 35 files containing 8,500 pages of “UFO-related documents, drawings, letters and parliamentary questions covering the years 2000 to 2005.”
But the next day on March 4, 2011, BBC News reported: “Intelligence papers on the December 26-28, 1980, Rendlesham Incident have gone missing ... Officials found a huge gap where Defence Intelligence files should have been.”
Retired USAF Tech Sergeant John Burroughs has been struggling since December 26, 1980, to understand what happened to him in Rendlesham Forest near Woodbridge, England, with Staff Sgt. James Penniston and Airman Ed Cabansag. Burroughs and Penniston tried to chase down mysterious lights moving rapidly through the trees. They lost 45 minutes of time. Penniston remembered seeing a black, glassy triangular craft emerge from a bright white light. On one side were symbols that Penniston dragged his fingers across “like Braille” and felt a warmer temperature compared to the cold December air. When Penniston touched the symbols, he said zeroes and ones filled his mind and stayed there until a couple of days later he wrote the binary code down in his log book.
