An Ayrshire couple were left spooked after seeing mysterious lights in the sky .
Adam Devlin and Maxine Steel were driving on the A77 near to Galston at around 9pm last night when they spotted the 'bright white lights spinning in the clouds'.
Adam, 29, said they were baffled as to what it was.
He added: "It was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. It totally freaked us out. I know it definitely wasn't a plane or a helicopter so what else could it be.
