Arthur C Clarke, a science fiction legend, once said, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” On the other hand, a Norwegian historian and Nobel Peace prize winner Christian Lous Lange said, “Technology is a useful servant but a dangerous master.” In quantum technology, both Clarke and Lange can be true because quantum technology is advancing in such a manner that its sophistication can mesmerise the society. Also, if we do not regulate its use in artificial intelligence and robotics, it can potentially cause harm to society.
